The Thing in the Labyrinth – a horror book club

8:45 p.m.

We have ghosts. Shadows flitting between aisles, books that fly off shelves, figures that whisk past a doorway only to disappear – all true, but undocumented and unpredictable. No science, just stories. The shrug-your-shoulders kind.

But not to worry! We are quite confident that the premises are safe for our new Horror book club: THE THING IN THE LABYRINTH, with author Kathryn E. McGee (Cemetery Riot, Horror Library) as our guide. We are only slightly less confident that Ms. McGee is neither undead, possessed, cursed, psychotic, nor recently assembled in a basement laboratory. We meet after hours, in the deep recesses of The Last Bookstore, tucked into the attentive embrace of our labyrinth. You will be perfectly safe (from anything not already inside).

The book is included in the price of your ticket, which you can get right here.

This month: The Job of the Wasp by Colin Winnette This is a gothic murder story with orphans and ghosts. Or is it?
