The Thing in the Labyrinth – horror book club with Kathryn E. McGee

9:30 p.m.

If you really had to stay after hours in this building, you’d want to do it with well-trained horror aficionados. Here’s your chance. Kathryn E. McGee leads us through the latest & best horror fiction, and she’s packed the club with stalwart colleagues. You’ll be about as safe as you could ever be here.

October. This is our time.

Laura Purcell’s The Silent Companions is a recent addition to gothic horror. A wave of family tragedies leaves Elsie mistress of an English country estate, but – do those strange wooden carvings… resemble the recently deceased? Is this some fresh evil or is she going insane?

All book clubs require a ticket, and include the book, snacks/bevs, and a dedicated moderator – to keep the discussion on track! All clubs meet at The Last Bookstore.

You can get your ticket (we’ll ship the book to you!) at this link right here – OR just come in to the store and look for our book club display (near the book tunnel).

If you choose the on-line option (the one with shipping), please send a mailing addy to larkin.lastbookstore@gmail.com
