The SuperWoman is a parable about a single working mother, Bea, who goes on a quest to find out how a media icon ‘does it all’. Bea’s answers come from the lessons learned from women she encounters along the way, and she writes down the practical insights that she gains, shedding light on issues such as “having it all,” getting to know oneself, cultivating forgiveness and gratitude, and letting go of the “shoulds.”

Through this uplifting tale, The SuperWoman offers readers strategies and mindsets that will help them re-energize their innate inner power and release the need to be a superwoman. Neal’s thoughtful examination of issues affecting women’s self-esteem and personal authority is sure to enhance the lives of women of all ages.

Janet Neal is a woman who believes in the power of women helping other women. She learned this through her careers as a teacher, an entrepreneur, and her 20 years with IBM, where she formed the IBM NJ’s first work/life balanced initiative. The author of Soul in Control: Reflections of a Reformed Superwoman (Balboa Press, 2012), Janet is also a contributor to The Huffington Post, Mogul, and hosts her own weekly webshow entitled Superbwoman Sundays at 7.
