Students of Ouchi High School have published their first intertextual anthology and will be conducting live reading samples for eager audiences! Please join us to celebrate the success of this young cohort!
This intertextual anthology consists of 28 original stories written by students, specifically utilizing Biblical, Mythological, or cultural intertextual references. This intertextual anthology reflects the poignant social critiques and social commentaries of these young intellectuals; it is surely a must-read!
The AP Literature class of Alliance Ouchi-O’Donovan 6-12 Complex (South Central Los Angeles) is comprised of 28 young scholars who are college-bound and will be heading off into the world as published authors and well-informed graduates from the class of 2017.

Those wishing to get books signed will be asked to purchase a copy of the author’s title from The Last Bookstore. Any outside books must be checked with security upon entering the store. This policy applies to all Last Bookstore events unless otherwise noted. Save your receipt; it will be checked when you enter the signing line.
