THE LAST BOOKSTORE hosts a group reading with Ken Baumann (author of Solip), Gabe Durham (author of Fun Camp), Amelia Gray (author of Threats), Jeremy Radin (author of Slow Dance with Sasquatch), and Ashley Farmer (author of Forty Love).
KEN BAUMANN is an actor, writer, designer and publisher. His first novel, Solip, was published by Tyrant Books in 2013. He owns and operates Sator Press, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit publishing company, and co-publishes No Colony, a literary journal, with Blake Butler. Baumann was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times (“Ken Baumann’s secret life of books”) about his work as a publisher at Sator Press, his novel Solip and balancing a career in acting. GABE DURHAM is the author of Fun Camp and the editor of Boss Fight Books. He lives in Los Angeles.
AMELIA GRAY grew up in Tucson, Arizona. Her first collection of stories, AM/PM, was published in 2009. Her second collection, Museum of the Weird, was awarded the Ronald Sukenick/American Book Review Innovative Fiction Prize. She lives in Los Angeles. Threats is her first novel.
JEREMY RADIN is a poet and actor and eater of fancy cheeseburgers. You may have seen him on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, CSI, or Victorious if you’re twelve. He co-hosted “The Lightbulb Mouth Radio Hour” with Derrick Brown and Mindy Nettifee, was a member of “The Encyclopedia Show: Los Angeles”, and has performed his poetry at venues all over Southern California. His first book, Slow Dance with Sasquatch, is available from Write Bloody Publishing.
ASHLEY FARMER writes in Long Beach, California with her husband, Ryan Ridge. She is the author of Forty Love (Tiny Hardcore Press), Farm Town (an illustrated chapbook from Rust Belt Bindery), and The Light at the End of the Tunnel of Love, a limited edition artist book forthcoming from NIETO Books.
